I'm somewhat tempted to replace the lighting for something else, I Just don't really know what I should be looking for when it comes to this kind of thing. But some light sources can start putting strain on my eyes and make them feel like they'll explode, in particular the lighting in my house causes the most strain, so I turn them off whenever possible.

I can stare at my large TV just fine all day as well.

Staring at my PC monitors is completely fine all day, and I have 3 of them. Now I can't speak for what exact light causes it and I'm not sure if it's a common thing, if certain lights are a culprit or if I'm just extra sensitive myself. My biggest issue and worry is that my eyes can be rather sensitive to lights. I don't use a green screen, so I don't need a focus on that specifically, I mainly just want my webcam to improve and have good lighting in general. So I know lighting is like the greatest thing you can do for any camera, cheap or expensive, so I want to get some decent lighting set up as my lighting is always rather dim and grim, therefore the quality is reduced and I'm almost impossible to see on top of that.
